ADVERTISING

To understand the type of brands we will collaborate with I want to focus on 4 major brands that we not only have partnerships with but are guiding principles in procuring other companies to advertise in Wander Often Wonder Always.

Patagonia is a popular and reputable brand. They create longlasting and repairable gear for camping and hiking, as well as apparel for everyday wear. Everything they use is environmentally friendly and recycled. Their stores and warehouses are even environmentally efficient, as well as their other facilities. Furthermore, they donate 1% or more (in good years) of their sales to grassroots environmental groups. This year they even donated their $10 million tax cut to climate change organizations.

Cotopaxi also sells outdoor products. The products are made to last 61 years, the average life-span for people in developing companies. They donate 2% of company revenue to organizations helping ease poverty.

Clif traces their ingredients to ensure sustainability and fair labor practices. They also use recycled material for packaging and uses solar panels in factories.

Columbia creates high-quality clothing from recycled material, too. Furthermore, they have an exchange program for old gear. Old gear is brought in, customers have a discount on new gear, and the old gear is recycled and reused to keep it out of landfills. And of course, they donate money to non-profits.

All of these brands are using the love of travel and adventure to help the Earth. Advertising in Wander Often Wonder Always means reaching young adventurists and environmentalist across the United States. Readers can and will bring Clif Bars along on hikes while rocking their $200 Patagonia sweater that is ethically sourced and manufactured and then blog about it and tag us on Instagram with their gear.

WOWA wouldn't be successful if it didn't inspire readers to get outside and be the good in the world. Simultaneously, WOWA will inspire readers to purchase brands we believe in. If products are featured in WOWA then readers inherently trust them and will purchase them, creating a positive feedback loop.
